Is the passenger side wing mirror meant to be smaller than the drivers side

I think josh mentioned something about it being smaller on some of the GTi's never really seemed to be any different on mine

Some are both small, some have small passenger-side and large drivers-side.

Weird indeed!

Is there anywhere i can get hold of a small drivers side wing mirror?

Do i remember someone mentioning getting one from Germany.

Would imagine it would be really simple to change.

Its a Europe thing, most European cars have a smaller wind mirror for some reason all cars shipped to the UK generally have the same size both sides, the Polo was one of the rare cars that kept the Eurpoean style - I think its cool!!!

The Lupo also has this, and I have a vague recollection of the R32 possibly having it.

Early low-spec Lupos and Polos have both mirrors small, the higher spec get the larger drivers-side mirror with the wide angle bit at the edge.

The R32 has two smaller mirrors than the standard MK4 golf, but they are the same size as the driver’s side on the gti.
