As im going down the hybrid route shortly was wondering what sort of 0-60 time to expect out of a hopefully 300 bhp (or shy of) polo anyone done an accurate time at this sort of power?

depends on alot of things like, driver, tyre choise, car itself, power delivery, speclist etc etc...
0-60 is irrelevant as the diffrence between a good and a verry good driver in the same car can make a diffrece of 0.5sec or more...
don't know what a 300bhp polo does irl.
i only know that my stage 2 240HP GTI does it in 5.4sec with ad08 tyres and good surface road on a +-24C day.
measured with Gtech and also Vbox.
can get my power down on te road pretty good, it's not said a 300hp polo would do better, it could be slower on that part because it's harder to get the power down.
it will be more difficult i guess..
