turbo intake pipe question

Am i right in saying When going for a hybrid turbo the reason for changing the tip is to accommodate the 3" maf housing? Thanks

Well you can stretch a standard forge one over the 3" maf (just lol)
My issue was the turbo inlet side
My TIP was cut at the bottom and the correct size elbow fitted and coupled to the rest of the tip to enlarge it ( I think that makes sense
)

Does the forge pipe actually fit over the maf lol? Also whats the diameter of the standard ko3s turbo inlet as my hybrid doesnt look as wide as yours

It took some doing but got there in the end lol. Standard inlet size is 38mm (internal) and mine is 52mm (internal)

I can get one from where you see in the bay but I don't have one before it was fitted
