How to remove seat covers

By seat covers I mean the material on the foam that make the seat
I have a 9n3 with leather seats and one has a rip in so I'm sending it away but I don't know how to remove it? There seems to be a wire the runs up the front of the seat that is bent over at the top but I can only see this through the ripped side so I won't be able to undo the non ripped sides bent wire?
If there are any guides or if anyone has done it I would be very thankful
