Thought I share my winter setup that I installed on my GTI today...
Wheels are Dezent Dark TD + GoodYear UltraGrip 8 tires, kept to the dimmensions as in my documents do its 15 inch setup with 185/60 rubber.
I kept the center caps off for now as I have some VW ones coming in the mail to completed the look...
Photo below what u folks think?
PS noticed the car pulls a bit to the right now... This was not the case with my stock 17 gti wheels maybe need to do optics?
Regards Laz

I bought this one from Parts4Euros.
http://www.parts4euro.com/oes-black-fro ... -1999.html
They also have a Front and rear badge combo. Bot DO NOT BUY THAT ONE!!! The rear badge is not for a Polo 6R.
But the front one fit's perfectly.
This one fit's the rear bagde. I just ordered one myself.

Wow 15's actually look really good.
Good choice of tyre too.
I've got a really good deal on some oem 17's which i am going to wrap in 215-40-17 nokians..... A smaller wheel is always better like what you've done, but i'm content with a tyre which works in the snow!

Cheers on the comments i went with 15s as roads here are horrid and im actually appreciating the extra comfort these provide versus the stock Monza wheels on 215/40 Bridgstones.
As for the rubber plan was to get the Conti TS850 or the Dunlop 4D but both was sold out so I went with the sure shot GoodYear UG I had those before on my BMW E90 and they were great...
PS do post a pic of ure setup do
Cheers LAZ

purchased replacement center cap stickers at the local dealer 0,98 EURO a piece... put them on the plastic center caps that came with the wheels and voila...

My winter setup as promised, a little delayed as its nearly spring now...
We've had practically zero ice or snow up to now, just a lot of rain.
17'' Leon wheels with winter tyres
