Hi all,

I'm looking at getting a 9N3 GTI early-middle of next year, but do quite a lot of mileage for work so I was wondering how many miles you all average to a full tank of fuel?

I'd be abit more specific and say whether your after standard mpg, stage 1 mpg or even stage 2

As I'm sure it will vary!!

On good long run you can probably get around 350-400, I managed about 41MPG on the motorway when I had mine. But round town as Tony said, 200 is about right if you are around town and stuff

Both of my GTI's (stage 1 and standard) were identical when it came to fuel economy

Thanks for this guys. To be honest I'll probably buy a standard GTI, with the possibility of a stage one. I've currently got a 1.4s 80, and I currently get around 320ish to a full tank (including fairly regular motorway journeys).

my phone reckons ive averaged 34mpg over the last 4 months

My weekly mpg is 38mpg I never go to empty normally fill up at 260 miles costs me £45
Runs Stage 1 Map and that's 10 miles dueller and 10 miles city driving.

I got 320 miles out of mine on stage 1, driving 35 miles to work each way everyday at 60mph duel carrigeway driving the whole way
