Headlamp Washers

Post by northernneil »

Hey everyone,

I spend a few hours today sorting some bits on her car which included replacing the cracked pump for the headlamp washers.

Now, this has been gone for a while so was quite surprised when they worked! However the passenger side one is getting stuck on the way back down, is this a common problem and if so is there a fix (wd etc?) or will it require a new one?

That'll likely require a new pressure chamber for that side. They aren't serviceable and generally if they fail it's a straight out replacement

Balls! Another xx of pounds! Cheers for the reply though.

I see they're only 2 bolts but can they be replaced without taking the bumper off?
