Hi, I have a 1.4 85bhp version. Just wondering if anyone has done a decat on these?

My fiancé can easily cut out the second cat as there is two. Has anyone done this?
Also has it brought engine management light on?

Wheres the best place for performance parts for my car as they all seem to be for GTIs?

I see your just down the road from me Theres not really much performance wise available for the 1.4 N/A. I have removed the middle box from my GTI for some extra bangs and pops, not quite sure what it will sound like on the non turbo models, i guess have a look around on youtube? I wouldn't decat though as it will just drone like hell. For performance parts try awesome gti, psituning, JBS. They are all the local big tuning companies closest to the north west really.
