No Spain. And some RHD Polo's are also build in South Africa. But mostly Pamplona in Spain.

By the VIN number.
If the 10th symbol is a Y it is from Spain and if It's a U It's from South Africa.

Do you mean the 11th letter? As mine is a Y. The 10th letter is a B!

If I recall correctly all 3 doors are made in Spain. All 5 doors are made in South Africa. All GTIs (3 or 5dr) are made in Spain. This is regardless of LHD/RHD.

Hi Guys....
Mine have the Y on the 11th position and is a 5 door, so....I think all Polo's are made here in Spain, except the Cross Polo (this I think is made in ¿Germany? Not sure....)

Makes sense to built all Spanish Polos in Spain if they have the tooling there to reduce shipping & import costs.jobbercete wrote:Hi Guys....
