UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Decided to refresh most of the switches and sensors on the polo.

So far in the last two weeks ive done:
Oil Pressure switch
Coolant Temp Sensor
Map Sensor
Knock Sensor
Crankhaft Sensor (A bastard to fit)
Brakelight Switch

Now im looking to replace the camshaft sesnor, ive been on eurocarparts website as they are selling them at very reasonable prices, only problem is there two camshaft sensors listed, and having a look at them i cannot for the life of me work out the difference if any at all.

My only assumption is that one possibly fits the AVY Engine and the other the ARC engine, im not sure whether they use the same camshaft sesnor or not?
Any ideas?

I would get a genuine vw one. Copy ones are prone to failing much like non genuine temp sensors

I bought one off ebay, cheap one for tenner, still lasting 6 months later
