Hi I have just picked up my brand new polo gti 6R and I got told by the dealer that it would have 2 zone climate control, It also states this on the options list that is specific for my car that it has the 2 zone but now I have the car home it is only single climate control. I think this is false advertisment and they should really refund or compensate me.

Nope. The Polo only has 1 zone climate controle... Just another case of dealers not knowing wtf the are talking about...

Yeah this is what I thought. There answer when I said this to them was its just a typing error on vw's behalf we can only appologise.

Two climate controlled areas but not independent. It's the best explanation I would give if I worked at a dealership, but I do not work at a dealership.
Front and rear.
Actually the air ducts beneath the front seats have their function.

That was the most complicated explanation I have seen regarding climatronic.

One temp to set = 1 zone
Two temps to set = 2 zones (left and right side of the car (and is only usefull if an african gives a ride to an escimo ))
Three temps to set = 3 zones front left and right & the rear Seat is an individual zone (usually controlled from the backseat)

So all in all - a very unhealthy cabin with all the different temps going on inside

Definitely jokes in English are my downfall ... lol!
