Hi all,

Just wanted peoples thoughts on having a car wrapped, I have always thought that it would protect the paint work underneath?? But have a few mates telling me not to do it. Also I assume that you will be able to peel it off at a later date (bit of a pain in the ass but will come off I imagine?

Thanks

I got a quote from one company who use proper 3M wrap
Came to £980

But i would like to know the side effects like you - can you peel
It off, does it ruin the paint work, in adverse weather does it ruin it? Can you wash it like normal car wash?

My mate had his polo wrapped, when it came to selling it, he said it didn't ruin his paint work, the only bad thing was that you had to be careful about washing it as over doing it can strip it, especially a jet wash. And also that after a 10 months or so it was peeling in places because of the weather, hope this helps.
