UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi all, new to this forum and my first post!
I'm currently doing some major work on my 2008 1.4 diesel polo. Amongst other things I need to change the wheel bearings. I have the new bearings, but the job seems to be impossible without a press or the correct tool.
Wondering if there is anyone in the Hampshire area, or maybe a little further that has the right tool and wanted to earn themselves a few quid by lending/selling it to me? There is a guy on eBay renting them for £56 a week... Which is a bit steep!
I have already removed the bearing carriers so I can turn round the job quickly.

If you ask a local car garage nicely, theyll do it for a tenner normally

That's what I did in the end.... Although he charged me £30!!
Still a lot cheaper than hiring or buying!
