Just bought my self a polo!

2006 reg! In flash red!

One things that's bugging me, is the centre cap for the alloy wheel is crusty and needs replacing! I have bought 55mm and 65mm centre caps of eBay and neither fit!! Please help me find the right size!

Can you post a photo up of your alloys so we can match them up

Hopefully you can see here, any tips on what else I could do would be brilliant

How close were the 55mm ones?

They were fairly close had about 3/4 spare though, 65mm no way near

14" or 15" wheels?

And if you could get a close up of the centre cap onto the wheel also that would help

Don't know what size the wheels are, they are just the standard rims.

Anything else I could do to tweak the car that's nothing major?

On the back of the center cap is there a 9 or so digit long part number?

What is the tyre size? Should be like 185/65/14 - will be stamped onto the tyre wall

Those centre caps are odd - i havent seen them before. What size do they measure on the front face, and between the clip posts on the back? (two measurements)

The tire is 167/70R14

The wheels are 15 inch

The outside of the centre cap measures 60mm and I can't take them off with out braking them or removing the wheel

The alloys are 15 inches and the tire is 165/70R14.

The outside measurement of the centre cap is 60mm and couldn't measure the inside or see if there was anything on the inside as would have to brake them to get then off

If the trye are R14 then that's 14" alloys

I don't understand the silver lip around the edges of the cap. Can you post up a photo of the back of the centre cap?

I would say those aren't genuine vw alloys. They don't match anything on the system

What would you suggest then? Any ideas??

Now you've got a cap out what does the back measure on the clips?

What size is the vw emblem from edge to edge on the black circle outer
