Hi,
Ive put 312mm mk4 golf brakes on the front and am about to put the 256mm ones on the back to match. Is it worth upgrading to braided lines? Any one used them and notice a difference beyond just having your brakes bled?

When i sold my polo to my mate he had my brembos on when i took them off and he put 312's and braided hose all round and full system bleed he said they were on par with the brembos

So i reckon there worth it

In the end I got pushed for time(pre MOT) and cash so opted not to stick in braided lines. There is still a slight sponginess to the brakes that I think must be coming from the lines. Next time I renew the brake fluid I'll stick some in. Thanks forthe advice though. Definitely a lot more stopping power with the golf setup.
