Hi. Had my new Polo now for 4 days and really liking it. Flicking through the manual it mentions a setting where you can enable auto door locking (anti hijacking), under the same menu as you set whether to open just drivers door or all doors from a single click on the remote. Problem is this doesn't appear in the menu to be selected. Anyone know if this is possible?

I haven't noticed it, i'll check further tomorrow.

I am waiting to hear back from my local dealer regarding an issue I am having with the start-stop system and will mention this also when he gets in contact.

Havn't seen anti-hijacking.

Do you see an option in the lock/unlock menu to switch this off and on?

Just swapped my 2011 6R for a new 6C SE Design and I previously had the auto lock set on my 6R. The dealer has told me it's not an option on this model!! Perhaps a software upgrade is needed on their VCDS ?

I've had VAG cars continuously since 1998, and I've not found a model yet where the anti hijack feature can't be enabled, other than those vehicles without central locking already of course.

It's possible they've not enabled such a feature on the 6C, but I highly doubt it.

Try another dealer, or find a member on here close to you with VCDS?

Yeah mine came from the dealer with the hijack doors. Sorted mine out right when I got it home. Surely there must be a way? Or does it perhaps depend on what infotainment system you have?

Really? What infotainment system have you got, version etc? Could you take a picture please, so i can compare it to mine. The system i have doesn't allow me to enable anti hi-jack either, or did you do that through VCDS software?

Anyone with VCDS around the South Bucks area? I'm in Iver.

Spoke to my dealer today who knew what I meant but didn't know why it wasn't an option to select on the media system. Anyone have this option showing in the opening and closing menu?
