Hi guys,
which is the rear fog light bulb supposed to be on the 9N? I tried mine the other day as it was foggy but nothing works on the rear one.

Sorry for delaying in answering, dopy/malfunctioning log-in page has blocked me for a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, as far as I can remember, the rear fog light is only fitted to the "off-side" of the car, it is located at the same position as the reversing light is on the "near-side". If you take off the cluster, remove the lamp assembly from the cluster and check all the bulbs, one other thing that I seem to remember is that the crude/nasty/cheap contacts that VW used, can end up crushing the solder pads on the ends of the bulbs - and that can lead to bulb "failure" - ie coil is intact but bulb does not always make contact.
