A few issues with my GTi... Please help!

I have a 2000 (X Reg) 6n2 GTi 3 Door with a few issues... 1. The Heating doesn't work 2. The A/C doesn't work 3. The headlight washers don't work...
So essentially i'm just looking for any advice and help that any one has for fixing these issues! the heating is my main priority at the moment seeing as it's now November and i don't think I can last much longer with no heating whatsoever! I have bought a new Climatronic unit to see if that is the problem... I have a few fault codes from my current climatronic unit that I'm not sure if due to the unit itself or if it is actual faults. Any help on any of these three issues would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks! :o

Does the climatronic panel show anything?

Headlight washers - do you hear the pump operating when the headlights are on and you wash the windscreen?

What fault codes have you got?

The Climatronic flashes diagnose when I first start ignition... does the 15 second flash so I know there's a problem, I did the self diagnose (Hold Re-circulation and ECON) and it came up with 4 fault codes : 25b (00603) 4f7 (01271) 4fa (01274) 318 (00792).

Regards to the headlight washers, I can hear a pump but it gets lost with the sound of the windscreen washers, If I do a 'pumping' action with the washer stalk then the washers slowly start to pop out and liquid trickles out of only one side of the washer :O but if I just do a normal hold down then nothing happens

The climatronic issue points to the panel itself. You would be hard pushed to get those four errors all at once otherwise

Headlight washers - the headlight washer pump is a separate pump. Its quite possible it isn't working properly. To access, you need to take the passenger side wheel off, remove the arch liner and youll see the tank above in the top of the wing.

Ok well I'll fit the new unit as soon as it arrives and see what happens! Hope it does fix the issue as I'd really rather not spend god knows how much to sort it out if it is anything else

Headlight washers - Brillaint, I'll take a look whenever I can ( or whenever the weather gives the rain a break!)

Cheers for the help! :D

Fitted another climatronic unit from eBay and it's solved the heating issue, now getting lovely warm heat for the first time!, i still have some fault codes though, more than I did originally, some are the same, some new ones though... also the back lighting doesn't work on this new unit so was thinking of taking apart my old unit and taking the lighting element from that if it's possible?

What are the new ones?

Sadly not that simple as its an LED on the LCD panel - youd probably break the LCD trying to change it

Haha yeah just before I read this I'd gone and opened up my old one... pretty safe to confirm that!

As far as fault codes go...
214 - 00532
21A - 00538
510 - 01296
25b - 00603
4FA - 01274
332 - 00818
538 - 01336
513 - 01299
318 - 00792

As you can see theres quite a few more codes, however the A/C one and another is still present :( At the moment i'm not overly fussed as I have heating from all vents so my car should get through the winter however if one of those is a cheap simple fix then I wouldn't mind getting it done... other than that I'll sort larger problems out after winter :D
