3 beeps when ignition turned on

We have a 2004 Polo 1.4 twist Automatic. Occasionally when the ignition is switched on we hear 3 beeps. There are no warning lights and no spanner displayed. Car starts and runs as normal. Doesn't do it every time. Fluid levels all ok. Car low mileage, approximately 45k.
