It is curious :) that the Elsawin not provide wiring diagrams for DIS in Polo Ind.
ciclo - subscribing to Erwin turned out to be very naive attempt. Without knowing anything I paid up and hoped that there will be a download button to get everything about Polo in a PDF. Instead there was an elaborate explorer kind of menu and further selection links on topics. It was intricate for a simpleton like me. Downloaded some 20 documents in the given time. Later on when I sorted, only 8 were unique and others were duplicates....

When I downloaded the docs, MFD was not on my mind. I checked the files again after your post and there is one "No.  28 / 1 dated 06.2014 - Multi-function steering wheel from august 2011" with wiring diagram in it. Haven't seen it in detail yet though.

Elsawin diagram you posted is available for Polo Ind, it is for multifunction steering wheel MFSW not for DIS. Thank you anyway.
You have Elsawin available on eBay, the latest version is 5.2 I think (not sure). I do not post links to buy for personal reasons, but it is easy to find.

update
Today I installed the CCS lever and turned the wires. the thread that will connect the ECU was also past but stayed for connecting due to a new problem found. The control unit has a lock connectors one metallic plate with the cut of origin screws. In order to access to the connectors have to cut them and I will later put a normal bolts in place of those. Is a thread for calling for this to work, I hope :)

success
I just installed the CCS and is operating five stars.
It was a bit difficult to get scoring the wire in the control unit due to the complexity of the form, the connection to the BCM is much easier and the easy part is to install the lever. After all this is only missing a small connection between the pin 26 and 29 of the lever as indicated by the diagram provided by our friend ciclo.
I once again thank the ciclo for the availability and rapid response in the supply of wiring diagrams.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the long delay in getting back. My plans received a big setback when a speeding Duster rammed from behind into my stationary polo :(

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwPbWO ... sp=sharing

Repairing may complete next week. Dealing with VW service is keeping me on the edge all along but that is a subject of another thread perhaps.

gti16 - congratulations on your success...doing a complex retrofit successfully by own hands should satisfy ego to no end 8)

ciclo - apologies I was to respond on some open points. I looked in freind's car and ECU is located below passenger side wiper in a tight spot. Did not attempt to remove the pin though. Hope it does not have lock connectors as gti16 pointed out.

s there an easy way to deal with the ECU connectors? gti16 if you have any pictures

Thanks all guys posted information about CCS for Polo 6R.
By your kind diagrams, explanations and trouble shooting records, I can get the CCS with my Polo.
Definitely it is the hardest retrofitting I ever had and I spent JUST 2 WEEKS to make it works perfectly! :|
However, it will make me to drive easy when I need to drive a long distance.
I would appreciate you all guys again from South Korea. Thanks! :D

Hello people!
I bought a polo 6R nearly two months ago, and I was used to cruise control, but now in my polo I don't have it, but I saw I can install it, but I don't know the part number I need to buy.
I saw a website to buy, but I would like to know if is the right one.

Hi Ciclo,

Do you have any installation pictures of your new CCS stalk without TRIP? I have procured a similar stalk for my Polo Sedan in India and awaiting some guidance.

Thanks in advance.

Hi sreeramkumars

I have no images, or a guide. It is a very simple process, remove airbag, steering wheel, old stalks and install new stalks.
Here pics of the result: http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 40#p497056

Hi Ciclo,
Thanks for these links. Actually my Polo doesn't have CC and I'm trying to retrofit. So I need to enable it via BCM and ECU apart from changing the stalks. I am after those details as well. Could you please help?
