Anyone got any RHD Standard mk4 headlights they wanna sell to me, however they have to be electric adjustment ones 7 pin rather than manual adjustemnt 4 pin.

I have some manual 4 pin ones if anyone wants to part exchange the elctric for the manual.

Many thanks

Ross

NB This is urgent as i need a set for my MOT as my wiering loom is now 7 pin for FK Lights so need to swap them for MOT as to changing wiring loom and put my standard 4 pin headlights back in for MOT.

Hey ash,

The loom was not too bad to change, all you do really is cut off one of the 4 pin connector blocks (that would connect to your original headlights) on your current loom, then you use the provided connector block which allows you to wire your current 4 wires into the block which then go into the 7 wires on the loom they provide which has various fuses (2) and relays (1). The hardest part really is understanding the diagram/instructions and getting the fuses and wires etc into a neat position so they are easy to access but not on show. You have additional wires which you have to wire to the battery (well on mine i have these) which i assume is to compensate for the extra 2 h7's that the car has to power (4 h7's in total plus 2 side lamp bulbs). I would maybe consider you try get a set of 7 pin standard headlights so you do not need to change the loom again when it comes to MOT time because this would be quite painfull lol, instead it will be plug and play :D .

NOTE: These lights are european lights and therefore do not have a side light setting (do not have this in european countries), so when you put the sidelights on you just get the dipped lights, and you get dipped also when you put them on dipped. (dipped on my lights is the outer circles in the lights have their h7's on and the inner lights have their sidelight bulbs on < gives a nice effect having outers brighter than the inners) (full beam/flashiong people is the outer light's h7s on and the inner lights h7's on and the side light bulbs < yes it is bright especially when you put 4 phillips 60% brighter bulbs in them lol, cost me a bomb for these considering they are only bulbs, but look the business and produce alot of heat)

hope this helps you in some way mate!! 8)
