Hello, I am BlackPoloBM from The Netherlands, and I have a Polo Bluemotion 2011.

I changed a lot of things on my car:

- Front R-line bumper
- Front R-Line grill
- OEM Bi-Xenon headlights (I have issues with the led lights that CANBUS shuts down after driving @ciclo could you help me with this please?
- Back GTI bumper
- GTI interior
- GTI steering wheels
- Golf 7 GTI rims

As mentioned. I have OEM bi-xenon headlights and I have a adapter which I use with the headlights so that all the functions of the headlights will work on my Bluemotion.
But there is just one problem. After driving 2 seconds, CANBUS is turning my LED lights OFF in my headlights.
I heard that other people had the same problem and that you must change a code in VCDS.
The problem is, I do not have VCDS and I do not know how to work with it.

I heard Ciclo knows how to solve this problem.

PS: My future updates will be: BlueGT speedometer and Polo 6C taillights.

Excellent combination of bumpers, rims and other details. I like it.
We hope to see some pictures of the interior.

Your problem with original xenon headlights is easily solved with coding, the real problem you have is that you do not have VCDS.
Ask for help from a close friend to do an AUTOSCAN and post it here.

I found a guy who made an auto scan with VCDS. I hope you can see what the problem is.
I also found out that my tail lights are not working any more cause of this problem.

hello i am jim from athens and i have a polo 1.6tdi dsg no bluemotion.it is possible to update my cluster to gti and how? ciclo wrote in the past if i remember right the gti tacho is only for petrol,not for diesel.can you help me??

you have to find a gti tacho first, but it will work in a diesel too. i got one in a 1.2tdi and works fine.

How does the rev counter work? Is the needle synced with the gti counter or does it move as if the old counter was in.(As the diesel only has revs up to 6k)

Love the work on the bluemotion!

The GTI tacho doesn't have issues if it is used on a diesel car. I have a GTI tacho on my 1.6 TDI. Tacho works just like the stock one but the downside is the lack of the glowplug warning light on the GTI cluster. I am guessing the LED is not soldered on the board.

For swapping the cluster, the immobiliser code from the stock cluster needs to be recoded to the new cluster and the car keys have to be sync'ed. I couldn't get the VW service center to do this so I referred to an afetrmarket VAG specialised guy who did the work.Shipped the stock cluster to him along with a spare key. He shipped the new cluster with the key coded. I swapped it and it worked fine.

Whether the dealer will do it or not is not very equally distributed. Some will do it with pleasure, some refuse.
Important to keep in mind is to buy a tacho with 0km. Or less than 200. Higher than 200km needs a specialst to build it in, lower can be done with a dealership.

The glow plug light is being substituted by the EPC light in function. De paticulate filter warning is now on the pixel screen.

iichel, I don't get the EPC light on my cluster. Is there a way to get this light activated? Can VCDS be of any use here? I only get these lights when I turn the key to ACC before starting the engine.



And they turn off when the engine is started and the parking brake is released.

It should be activated when you have it built in at a dealer
