Hi, had my polo(mk8 5dr) parked in Manchester overnight on Saturday, returned in the morning to find the front passenger window smashed and the contents of my glove compartment strewn over the car, they took a cheap sat nav which was in there but im not too bothered about that. I was quoted by Autoglass £270 to get it replaced, and I didn't like the sound of that. instead i managed to source the piece of glass on Ebay and that should arrive on Wednesday, I was wondering if anybody had any idea on how id be able to fit it myself?
Thanks in advance.

It's a doddle, take door panel off I think there are 2 rubber gromits to expose the bolts that clamp the glass, operate the switch down till the bolts are inline with the holes where the gromits were, loosen them so you can remove what's left of your window, slide new glass in clamp it up and put back together.
