Hi everyone,

I have a 9n and i was wondering if someone could shed some light regarding a question i have.

I need to pass two small wires from the drivers cabin/dashboard to the engine bay so that i can install a volt meter.

Can someone please tell me where to route them from.

Pics would be very helpful.

Thanks

Where is the volt meter being fed from?

From the cars main battery.

Silly question, but can you not just take the 12V feed from somewhere behind the dash?

I'd rather not....two main reasons.

1st. i m against the idea of having to chop off the main or any sub harness

2nd. the volt meter i m about to install is the ctek 56-531 where you can also plug your charger.

So, preferably, and for various other reasons i would like to take the wires direcrly to the battery.

Any idea where from can i route the wires,to the engine bay?

Alex

Fair enough - understand your reasons

The below post has it documented pretty well

Normally the grommet behind the ABS pump is quite popular, but there are a few other choices.
