Hi all first post here, car is 54 plate 1.9 SDI

I'm about to install a right click keyless entry system, so far I have stripped back the harness and located the single blue with white tracer locking wire.
There seems to be some confusion on where to fit the inline resistor, is it on the lock wire or unlock wire from the keyless box. Most people are saying it's the unlock wire so I just want to make sure.

Also I think I have a dodgy door lock microswitch, will this effect the keyless entry system.
Dodgy I mean by no lights on dash when doors are open but the dome light still comes on, but the 2 buttons on the door card for lock/unlock does not work.

So wondering if it will effect the keyless entry system?

so i did not get much help here but ive solved it so ill post it up.

for right click system all have to do is add 280ohm 0.25watt resistor to the unlock wire white with black tracer.
then join it up along with the lock wire to the central locking wire blue with white tracer.

bingo remote entry
