Composition Media Unit Skip to Next/Previous Track

I encountered some odd behaviour recently. I'd been playing music from a USB stick and had been skipping the odd track by touching the screen or using the steering wheel button.
Suddenly, I found I could no longer skip track either forwards or backwards either by touching the screen or using the steering wheel buttons. However touching the Pause/Resume "button" on the screen in between the two Skip "buttons" was still working perfectly.
So, I turned the unit off for a few seconds and then back on again. It remembered where it had been playing but the skip function was still not working. I tried going up a level to the directory listing and then selecting the next track manually which was fine but I still couldn't skip directly.
I then found a suitable place to stop and switched the ignition off for a couple of minutes and on restart the unit first displayed the GTI logo and then went into the media player. It again remembered which folder and track it had previously been playing from but this time the track skip functions were enabled.
This isn't a major issue and I've only hit it once so far. But it's an addition to a small list of minor niggles. One where on start up the unit very occasionally forgets its place and starts from the first track in the first directory on the media. And another where there is an audible click on switch on and the right hand speakers take a few seconds to fade in.
I think I'll wait until my first service is due and ask if the unit's firmware can be upgraded at the same time. It won't be until May next year so hopefully all the issues will have been fixed by then.
