So I've been running replica headlights for a while now with normal halogen bulbs in them, and I've got the urge to make them full replica now and get them with the HID in them so they're brighter but not blinding. So I was wondering if it was possible to fit the ballasts and bulbs, the wiring is done pretty much just need help on how to for the ballasts.

Have you fitted bulbs yet? What fitting do they take?

www.carmodshop.co.uk sell some great can friendly HID kits. 4300k is the colour choice you ideally want to go for to keep it OEM looking

I currently run H7 xenon bulbs 5000k they fit great no bother. The D3S bulb would fit more snuggly in though, I think I would go 7000k ish if I got them them but that's more to match with the LEDs a bit better, but I think it's just the reflection and that 6000k would do great, but that's my personal taste I don't really like yellow light (although it is far better for driving)

5000k is perfect though I would go no higher than 6000k. Projected lenses change the colour of the light anyway and 7000k is asking for police attention

The actual LEDs will be rated between 4300 and 5000k for colour anyway

I like 5000k myself only slight difference between it and the leds, I'd say 5300k would be perfect match and true about the 7000k, although some people seem to get away with running HID kits and 8000k over here but that's mainly because it's not a high priority for police over here in
