I bought the car used and i dont know how this happend so any suggestions on how it happend and how i can fix it ?.

It's "clicked" in place... Screws are to old school for modern cars.

Clearly its not clicking in place tho, perhaps old school is better for this application

Speaking of other things, today (vacation time) I have broken a 18mm socket wrench (chrome vanadium) to try to get a bushing (Polo 9N3). It is the first time that happens to me.
Solution: take the car serviced and let them do it with impact wrench.

I dont know how to get that peace out of there. I looked at the photos in the links but i dont know.. I Guess im going to need to try to get it out and take a look at it. Thanks for the info .

VW dealer, with reference number or VIN.

Something similar happened me, mind it was my rear dome lights but they hung out a bit I used a bit of silicon sealant worked perfect

Ye i was thinking about maybe doing that. Because i bet that if order a new window opener its going to cost a bit so i might just but some sealant to hold it in place.

I just super glued the side that was loose and it worked perfectly . Thanks for all the answers.
