VW Polo 9N Rear Bumper Compatibility

Hello,
I have recently damaged the rear bumper on my VW Polo, I am searching for a new one but I am having trouble deciphering the differences between the available options.
My VW Polo is a 05 plate Twist 9N1 0G4. I have found a number of bumpers suitable for 9N3 Polo variants will these fit my polo? I have also found some rear bumpers which state compatibility with Polo's dating from 2001 to 2009, this time range includes a number of revisions of the Polo. Please can any one shed some light on this issue?
