Gti colours

Morning all, I'm going for a full respray on my silver 2000 gti, I want to go for red but want it to be the original gti red, I've heard this might be flash red or tornado red, can anyone confirm our give a paint code number for the red?

Flash red is the polo GTI colour

the new model was also available in just three colours – Diamond Black Pearl Effect, Flash Red and Satin Silver Metallic.
Always thought it was reflex silver

Satin silver was only used on the early 6N2 Polos. They changed it to reflex silver shortly after the 6N2 was released

Mine was registered Feb 2000 so I'm guessing it's Satin? Would explain why it looks a bit different to the 2 Reflex Golfs we have

You should go Audi misano red. It's like a lightly metallic flash red
