Could some1 tell me if its hard to get hold of a G40 engine with ECU, Loom and gearbox. Doesnt matter if the charger is Knackered.

Whats about the average price i should expect to pay for this. I seen one for sale in the paper for £200, But i was thinking that was a bit cheap, and when i phoned for it, it was gone.

yes it is hard. I'd say there's maybe one up for sale every 1-2 months at most. I've seen a few go for as little as £500 odd but then they were knockin on 130k miles.
Try German ebay. Its an amazing source for G40 parts. Use a translator such as www.altavista.com/babelfish
