Hi all , the front o/s front Spring has snapped on my Gti has anyone changed these springs before??
What I need to know is..... When you take the old Spring off there is a ball bearing brace is this meant to be a sealed unit as all the bearings fell out, I managed to put them all back in but is this meant to be a sealed unit??
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Yes, it is. You need to replace it if its all fallen apart. If its split, it means its past it.

Is that a part I can get from German and Sweedish ??

Should be able to. They call it a bearing ring. Get the better quality one
