Hi I'm at a loss , my 1998 1.4l polo was involved in an accident, light frontal , airbag didn't go off but car will now not start , turns over fine . Wondered if there is a sensor or fuse/ relay other than the airbag modual behind the heater that may disable the engine ?

Check your fuses on the battery and in the car. Sounds like either the immobiliser is playing up or the engine isn't getting fuel
