Im looking to buy a H&R cup kit for my 1,2 TSI but cant decide between 25/40 and 35/55 drop
The wheels im looking at are 17" x 8J ET 35 with 215/40/17 tyre.
25/40 drop looks nice, but the 35/55 looks even nicer. The thing is that im in a carpool for work so i need to keep in mind that there will be 2 persons in the back quite often.
So what do you guys with 35/55 drop have to say about this, is there enough clearence with 2 people in the back?
Cheers!

Haha, yeah i wish

! Saves me quite alot of money by beeing in the carpool tho :/
I know the easy way would just be to go with the 25/40 and live with it, but figured i could atleast ask and see what people with 35/55 have to say!

I have to 35/55 H&R springs and the car looks way better with them then factory. I have had 2 persons in the back and its not a problem for me atleast. I say you go for the 35/55 drop.

I've got 35/55 with 7.5 et38 18" wheels and never rub even with 5 men in the car. It's not very comfortable mind
Saying that you might have a problem with the wheel specs you've quoted. You're wheels will be 9.3mm further out compared to mine and I have considered 10mm spacers for mine but I think they'll rub by the looks of it.

Is it possible to get a bit more camber without modifying very little/little ?. Just a bit more camber maybe not even noticable.

Do you have only the springs or do you have the cup kit? Yeah maybe i should just go with the 25/40 to be safe
