Upgrading master cylinder

Post by BioS »

Hi guys,

Has anyone upgraded the master cylinder (brakes)?
I want to upgrade mine and I would like to know if there is any upgraded master cylinder that fits my 6n2 GTI.

Thanks,
Alon

The seat Ibiza cupra from the same era has a larger (stubby) master cylinder

Depends on what you are pairing it to brake wise though

GTI calipers
G60 Carriers
HEL braided brake lines
280 mm Brembo plates
Ate brake pads - Will be replaced with something better as Ferodo (Hopefully this weekend)

I wouldnt think youll need an upgrade with that setup

I ran G60 brakes on my GTI for years and never suffered at all.
