I have a s reg polo with a 6n2 gti engine in it. I need a new alternator I have been to my local car breakers and they only have a 2000 reg polo 1.4. Will the alternator work for my gti? Or will I have to buy a brand new one? Need to know ASAP if it's worth going for this Ons from
The breakers because it's peanuts and brand new is nearly 150 pounds! Please someone help

You need to ensure the amp rating is the same. As long as that matches it'll be fine
