Hello all
as the title says Iam looking to find a exhaust clamp as my exhaust is blowing where the front meets the back pipes.
It's a 2002 1.2 3v. Have any of you had this problem before and what clamps did yous use?

Has that car still got its original one piece exhaust or is there now a clamp on the exhaust somewhere? VW genuine exhausts tend to get joined using a jointing sleeve so that means both parts are the same diameter and not opened out as on some other cars. It is not the flexi joint that is blowing is it?

After flexi and the rear section fits into the front section then there is 2 clamps on that bit

The joining sleeves that VAG use are a length of rolled overlapping steel with a clamp at each end. Is it one of these clamps that has failed/rusted/broken? If so, then you will find it difficult to buy a new one of them by itself - they might be called Euroclamps, I bought complete new joining sleeves for my Passat when a clamp rusted through. You might find them on ebay with an application list, but it is easier to measure the OD of the exhaust at that point or the sleeve at that point and take it from there. One thing to remember, if someone has replaced a section of exhaust, they will have needed to cut the original exhaust at the correct point, if it has been cut at the wrong point, then the two pieces of exhaust might now not be long enough to almost meet - which they need to do when using these VAG joining sleeves.

They can be bought singly at your local VW dealer
