Hello, Recently picked up a very tidy polo! Smallest car I've driven and loving it

It's currently behind on a service so going to attempt todo the full hog my self including the oil change. However I'm struggling on finding out how much oil the engine holds?

If any one has any pointer too would be greatly appreciated!

Below are the oil details from Quantum which is what VW use, suggests 5 liter, I'd say put in 4.5 liters let it settle and top up as required.

I'd say use a flush to clean out the engine, from a personal view I think it does help. I have just done a full service less the gearbox oil on my 1.4 tdi, used last years left over oil to clean through whilst the the sump plug was removed forced out more of the gunk.

Be sure to change the fuel filter and use good quality oil and filters, I have used poor quality in the past and it caused a turbo failure.

Quantum oil listed below is what the dealers use, it is available on ebay (from reputable franchise dealership sellers) at a reasonable price so worth going for that.
