This is initially a quick ad as we have decided to sell our Silver three door GTI. It has two mature lady owners from new. Both of which lived less than a mile away from each other. We have now owned the car for over ten years and are selling because we have purchased an Octavia vRS. During our ownership I t has wanted for nothing. It has had three timing belt changes, a genuine VW clutch was fitted last year. The gear box is spot on as it was subject to recall shortly after it was new. The peddle box was also replaced under recall. It has full leather too. We also have all service records and MOTs. The wheels have near new tyres and have been professionally refurbished and have never been kerbed. A spare set on refurbished wheels may also be included. Brake pads and discs were replaced less than 5000 miles ago.

The paint work is immaculate apart from a couple of superficial dings on the rear bumper from a courier van driver who drove off without leaving any details. Pics will be posted shortly. No time wasters please. Genuine enquiries most welcome. I can provide the reg number if you need to do any checks.

Where are you located?

Just north of Portsmouth. Picking up new car tomorrow so Polo will be advertised elsewhere from this weekend onwards. I would love this to go to an enthusiast.

I would do the same; however five cars between the two of us is unfortunately too many. My Corrado hasn't left the garage for three years. I have just picked the Polo up from the Garage which has completed all the work since we have owned the car. It has had a health check and passed with flying colours. If anyone has concerns about the tow bar, it was fitted to tow a small trailer for talking rubbish to the trip. Probably less than 5 trips in all.

The bumper is totally untouched. I can't remember the make but I chose it for that reason

I have received a few enquiries through this Ad. To answer most of the questions; yes the car is still for sale. I will remove the ad as soon as it has been sold. The car is located just to the north of Portsmouth easy to get to from the A3M. I will consider reasonable offers depending on what is included ie spare set of wheels and VAG roof bars. I have the FSH. The book is now completely full of stamps!!! and a folder full of receipts.

Still for sale, although we are still in two minds as to whether to keep hold of the car.
