Hi all,

I'm struggling to find performance pads for my GTI. Anybody know if the brake setup is the same as any other VAG vehicles? Always loads of options for TTs / Golfs etc but very limited for the Polo...

Also been looking at this. Not seen anything online when looking for pads.

The front discs are 312mm and calipers are same as the old 180bhp audi TT. Which were a common upgrade for older cars. Rears also appear to be the same 256mm solid discs.

So you should be able to order as per previous models.

I wish sites would update their info quicker. I noticed the same for intakes. Plenty show one for the Audi S1 but not the GTI, yet they are identical.

Not all is lost then! So fast road pads for a 180bhp TT should do the trick?

Yes, they look about right. Also same as the octavia vrs which run the 312mm on front.

Also very easy to change yourself.

Oh, and also the same as the S1. Although Audi have bolted on a plate to the front of the caliper for their badge but just the same caliper underneath.

The S1 has different rears tho, I believe the rears are vented on them. Polo is just a solid disc.
