Is it possible to activate needle sweep in my 2011 polo TSI 1.2 SEL?

Fifty per cent of time yes you can activate needle sweep on your cluster via VCDS
But some cluster's will not allow you activate this function even with VCDS, which has to be edited by eeprom to be enabled.

Yes eeprom, using special cluster software you can rewrite the file so it enables the cluster to have needle sweep.

Ah! Something new i didnt know

Can anyone do it or do you need to be knowledgable on how to rewrite the files?

if you're on of the lucky 50%: vcds, 17 instruments, adaptation, enable indicator celebration or staging.
if it says 'channel not available', you're not so lucky

Oh! I have tried that method and I am indeed one of the Unlucky bunch.

Hey where can i get someone to do this to my cluster ?. Does anyone know ?.

To anyone interested, I can enable needle sweep to any VW Polo 6R cluster/tacho which can't be activated via VCDS.

I have the vag programmer and the vag commander + editor hex xvi32.
Do you know witch hexadecimal field changes?
