Hi lads,
I'm Cian from Ireland, have previously had a corrado, MK4 Golf gti, MK5 Golf GTI, 8n Audi TT and a load of diesel cars
Picked this up about a month ago now, had a day to clean it and take pics yesterday so said I'd throw it up on here.
2016 Polo Blue GT
Standard Spec:
1.4 TSI ACT BlueMotion Technology
150hp / 110kw
6 speed Manual
4.8 l/100km
17” Montani alloy wheels
BlueSpeed Sports seats in front with height adjustment
Black exterior mirror housings
Tinted windows
Dark red tail lights
Twin exhaust tailpipes
Black headliner
Cruise control
Fatigue detection
Sports suspension as standard (lowered by approximately 15mm)
Leather 3 spoke multifunction steering wheel
USB interface for iPod/iPhone
Smoking pack
5.8" colour touch-screen radio 'CompositionMedia'
Spec I added:
Pure White
"Lights and Vision" Package which includes:
Automatic headlamp activation with separate daytime running lights, including "Leaving Home"and manual "Coming Home"
function, an auto-dimming interior mirror and a rain sensor.
Driving comfort package for BlueGT which includes:
Front and Rear Parking Sensors and Rear View Camera
Anti-theft alarm
Side windows in heat-insulating glass, from B-pillar and rear window dark tinted
Exterior mirrors: electrically foldable and electrically adjustable/heated
Front armrest
Xenon Headlights and LED DRLs which includes:
Automatic headlight-range adjustment dynamic (self-adjusting while driving)
Gas discharge headlamp (D1/D3 system)
Headlight washer system
LED license plate lighting
Washer fluid level indicator
I also contacted VW Ireland to get alloys finished in "17" 'Montani' Anthracite" which was not an option in Ireland but was in the UK.
Yesterday I also added:
Pressed Plates
Aluminium Pedals, same as MK7 golf
Chrome Tailpipes, same as Polo GTI
Debadged the "Polo" and "Bluemotion" badges
So far I'm loving the car, fast, comfortable and does great mpg, I've seen up on 55/56 mpg, averaging around 47mpg since I've got it. It's exactly what I wanted as I do a got bit of driving (nearly all motorway).
I gave the car a full detail, snow foamed, wash, detar and removed iron from paint, clayed it, polished and sealed. Used all products from Mad*Cow car care.
Future plans:
Lower slightly
LEDs inside and in fogs
Maybe more power
And whatever other OEM mods I can find
Anyways some pics in the next post
Thanks,
Cian
