I've got my hands on a lift pump/sender unit from an AUD 1.4 MPI engined 6n2. Will this be a good spare for the GTI or do they have different outputs for different engines?

I've been bitten before with one of these pumps, my golf one gave up in January and was £200 all in from TPS. I want to avoid that again!

Cheers Carrera, it wasn't too bad removing it from the polo, the Golf was a PITA, it's secured with a locking ring that needed some persuasion to free off!
