Sun Roof Seal

Has anyone replaced a1993 genesis o.e. sliding sun roof seal ? If so a supplier and part no. would be great.Looks like a bit of a mission!

from VW its about £90 now. VWHeritage sell it too
Theres a guy however selling OEM quality ones on ebay for around the 50-60 mark
In any case, not cheap.

In any case, its easy to fit
just needs shortening to suit.

The sun roof seal looks a difficult fit to me. It's a steel sliding roof.The seal at the front edge is accessable if partly open but that means thr back edge is then obscured by the headlining.Am i missing something here that will make it an easier job?If anyone has replaced the seal I would be pleased for any advice!

You have to remove the sunroof to change the seal - its pretty easy to do.
