Good morning,

I have just bought a 2002 1.4 TDI Polo and want to fit a remote lock and alarm kit i have. The kit i got off ebay is a steellion steel400B. i had a search on here for the wiring specs but there is so much info on here i couldn't find it. DOes anyone have any usefull info on fitting a system like this?
The wiring diagram i got with it

Hiya, it's vague to say the least! Although the 13P connector looks fairly straightforward it doesn't give any clues for your car and the 6P connector shows nothing!
I'd take advantage of the offer in the ebay ad... "On request we can supply wiring diagrams for the particular make and model FREE of charge. Available For most of the cars"
Request the wiring diagram and see if that helps??
Good luck,
Graham

Thanks for the reply, i have requested this but no message back from them so far. I'm glad it isn't just me that thinks it is vague.
Thanks

Seems about as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

So. i havent even touched fitting the alarm section yet i just concentrated on central locking.
Behind the bonnet release there is the cables going into the door, i released these and from my understanding the white and blue cable should be the central locking system. I need a resister of 1k ohms on the unlock wire but both lock and unlock plug into that same white and blue wire. So i just hooked up the lock and gave it a try, to nothing. alot of clicking from the receiver but no locking.
I even ripped the doors apart to look at fitting new servos as that could be easier but they dont appear compatible.
Has anyone fitted something like this before that could give me a little help as to where i might be going wrong. cant understand why it isn't firing the locks.

thanks
