I just got my first Polo. 1.2 petrol 3dr...

Im wondering what kind of mods do i have to tell to my insurance company? only engine mods or basically everything?

I'd suggest that it will need to be everything, not just performance enhancing as changing the appearance of a car can make it more susceptible to theft and increase the potential repair bill. One thing to consider, even if you fitted a lower powered engine into that car, if it existed, you would need to talk to your insurance company and as it would then be nonstandard, your premiums would increase! (lose - lose all the time with insurance companies)

Damn! I didn't know that, so even if you have just tinted windows?

Yup, supposed to be anything that changes the car from standard. Some will and some end care about the smaller things but why take the risk?
