Hi, I'm trying to source an ABS pump for my Aunties 9n polo. It's a 1.4 auto on a 53 plate.
What's the difference with the part numbers? I need controller 6Q0 907 379 L. Some end in A, H etc etc. The pump part is 6Q0 614 117 H, again there are different letters at the end.
Do these letters change the performance of the module or pump pressure for example or is it just a later number that supersedes the older ABS units?
Cheers in advance for any advice!
Stan

Youll need a matching part number for this one
The replacement overall part number is now 6Q0698117B, with the original part number for the pump and module being 6Q0614117H

Slightly off topic this. When it's fitted is there anything specific that needs to be done regards bleeding the brakes? I read somewhere a while ago with respect to my golf that to get the air out you needed to get the abs working. I seem remember driving on grass to get it working at a safe speed!
Any advice again appreciated!

Bleeding whilst actuating the output tests via vcds will purge all the air

My Vagcom is over 11 years old now and I don't think I've got that facility. Is there an old school way?
