B4 = small brown BCM plug number 4
B40 = small brown BCM plug number 40

C31 = BCM black plug (I guess, T73c/31) number 31
Other end to the light switch connector pin 5

I think they misprinted C35, it should have been C31.

I think it is supposed to be like this:

B3 = Connector "B" at BCM module terminal no 3
B40 = Connector "B" at BCM module terminal no 40

Brown wire = ground
Blue wire - Terminal no 5 at Light switch connector goes to BCM module
connector "C" terminal no 35.

Why it should be pin no. 31 in your opinion?
Do you have diagram for the BCM pins?

Great!!

Did you use this instruction:

B3 = Connector "B" at BCM module terminal no 3
B40 = Connector "B" at BCM module terminal no 40

Brown wire = ground
Blue wire - Terminal no 5 at Light switch connector goes to BCM module
connector "C" terminal no 35.
?

Any advise for the VCDS?

I'm still having problem with the fog light and cornering lights..
