Gti wondering rear

The rear end of the car has started to wonder it seems most apparent after hitting bumps in the road and on cornering. I'm thinking it could be the rear top mounts or beam mounts. I replaced everything on the front end a few months back.
Any ideas or pointers :) ?

Rear top mounts do wear on these. I'd be tempted to replace them

I had exactly this a few years ago and it turned out to be a knackered shock absorber.

2 broken helper springs. Can I just remove the helper springs and take up the slack by doing up the coilover ring.

It'll end up lower. Really the helper springs need to be replaced

You'll need to speak to the seller really. Makes like that don't sell spares straight up

Tried to get the coilover rings undone, the lock ring is free but the main one isn't having any of it. Tried the correct tool, chiesel, slide hammer, a tin of wd40, spray grease, some coke, a blow torch and big plumbing grips.

New coilovers time
