A GP called his local tame mechanic late one night. He was on call but his Polo GTi 16v was making loud rattling noises from the engine. Reluctantly the spannerman went round. He opened the bonnet, paused, then removed the oil filler cap.
After dropping in three aspirins, he said: "call me in the morning if it's no better".
